The Evolution of a Girl

Thanks so much for stopping by!  My friends tell me I'm the 'compassionately curious' type which is just as well as I'm always learning, always wondering, and always wandering.

It feels like a lifetime ago when I said goodbye to my career as a lawyer where I always felt like I had to wear a mask to work just to fit in.

From that decision to live my life in alignment with who I truly am, I came to the practice of yoga and meditation and set a new  vision for my life.

In learning to quieten my mind, and become more flexible in my body, I began to shed the layers of conditioning and other people's opinions to unfold and unlock all that is unique to me as a person.  I don't know if I've removed every mask I wore, but I know that if I keep on this path, I will.  I did my MBA alongside my 200 hour  Yoga Alliance Teacher Training and  Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Training. These things I had wanted to do for over 10 years. Without a doubt, yoga changed my life and the course of my life.

So it's no wonder that I am so passionate about yoga and meditation, how it raises my awareness every day, elevates my life and others around me. I am a better human being and a more empowered leader because of it.

I have seen myself become emotionally and physically healthier, stronger, and more balanced. I understand how yoga and meditation can also bring a sense of clarity that is a great motivator for people to make better choices in their lives both personally and professionally. And now, more than ever the world needs compassionate people, and authentic leaders who are more serving, more concerned, more human. Coming from that place we can help others to do the same.

Yoga is not a form of exercise or religion, it is a way of life that recognises the art and science of well-being where mind, body, and spirit work in harmony to help leapfrog the challenges of life.
